Do I need any flying experience?
Will I get to fly the simulator?
Do I have to complete the first flight package before I can do the others?
How technical is the briefing and flight, will I understand it all?
Is this done as a group or one on one?
Can I bring a friend along?
Yes you can, there is seating for two extra people to join you for your flight.
There is no extra charge.
What is the minimum age?
Our recommended minimum age is 12.
There is no maximum age.
Do gift vouchers expire?
Gift vouchers expire twelve months* after purchase.
*Note: For New Zealand & Singapore, Gift Vouchers expire after 6 months

Is the simulator fully enclosed?
Does it have certification for training?
Yes it does; it has CAA and CASA certification to do up to half of an instrument rating, as well as a number of instrument flying currency credits.

How do I book a flight date and time?
You can either book in person at a Flight Experience store, or by phone.

When I book a flight online, what do I get?
A Flight Experience voucher, in the form of a mock airline boarding pass, will be mailed to you (or your nominated recipient). The voucher confirms the flight package which has been purchased, but does not include a confirmed date and time for the flight. You can book a date and time for your flight once you have received the confirmed boarding pass voucher in the mail.
Can I book a date and time for my flight at the time of purchase?
It depends on how you purchase. If you purchase by phone or at a Flight Experience store, you can confirm a booking at the same time.
If you purchase online, a voucher will be sent to you (or your nominated recipient). You can then book a date and time for the flight by phone or at a Flight Experience store. At this time you cannot book a date and time online.
Do Flight Experience vouchers expire?
Yes, vouchers expire:
After 12 months if purchased in Australia
After 6 months if purchased in New Zealand
After 6 months if purchased in Singapore
When and how will my voucher be despatched?
Vouchers are processed daily, and are mailed on the day of purchase – if purchased before 3.00pm.
Can I have my voucher couriered overnight?
Yes you can. Call the relevant Flight Experience store to arrange this.
Can I upgrade to a longer flight than the one purchased?
Yes, you (or your nominated recipient) can upgrade by paying the difference between the value of the voucher and the price of the longer flight – provided this is done when booking a confirmed date and time for the flight.
Can I purchase a DVD of my flight on the day?
Yes. If you didn’t purchase the DVD online, you (or your nominated recipient) can still arrange and buy it on the day of the flight.
